The menu at Cafe Brasil is a vibrant tapestry of classic Brazilian dishes crafted with care and the freshest ingredients. This place was so clean and beautiful! They had fresh flowers at every table that made the whole restaurant smell so lovely. The margaritas were good but the food was the star of the show! Their skirt steak was perfectly tender and well seasoned. We’ve only been once but we will definitely be back again!
What a delightful experience at this Brazilian Cafe in Los Angeles! We had a reservation for 8 & were kindly accommodated. This restaurant was so vibrant, had great music & incredibly nice staff. You order at the front, the food is made fresh, & brought out to your table (w/ speedy service), then you pay after. I had the lunch special which consisted of rice, beans, grilled chicken, a fresh pico/salsa & sweet plantains for I believe $13. You also have the option of getting a different protein, you can't beat it! The food was authentically Brazilian & high quality for the price. We had Pastels, Brigadeiros, a fresh fruit plate fresh squeezed juice. I'm glad my friends & I chose this spot for lunch!!! Highly recommend
If Cafe Brasil ever closed, I would cry. Ugly cry. This unassuming gem serves up plates that hit the soul. The churrasco steak plate is nothing short of heavenly—tender, flavorful, perfectly paired with either lentils or the comforting bean soup. Add the sweet plantains and that homemade Café Brasil hot sauce, and you’ve got a flavor symphony that feels like a warm hug and a samba all at once. Don’t skip the mango juice—sunshine in a glass. And whatever they call that warm apple dessert? It’s absolutely to die for. Golden, gooey, nostalgic… like someone’s abuela just baked you a memory. Cafe Brasil isn’t just a restaurant. It’s a feeling. A rhythm. A place that makes you feel like you’ve traveled without ever leaving town. Please, never close.
Cozy, quaint, and colorful! I loved coming here. It was highly recommended and it didn't disappoint. Extensive menu of Brazilian faves, including coxinhas! The food was delicious and nicely priced. Big screens with soccer games going. Cutely decorated and clean.
The atmosphere of this restaurant is top tier. It felt like walking into a whole new neighborhood. I got the fish sandwich with the snapper (the worker's recommendation), and it was good. The salad that came with it didn't seem to have any dressing like my friend's salad. The black bean soup was tasty, and the mango juice was perfect.
Such a cozy wonderful place with excellent food! I've had the grilled fish, the feijoada and grilled dark meat chicken, they're all excellent. The feijoada is my favorite, and the lentil soup is a top tier side dish. The prices may feel a bit steep but you get a lot of food and lots of little side dishes. Also love the vibe, the interior with all the colors and artwork is really charming.
Fun atmosphere with delicious Brazilian food. You can't go wrong with any of the appetizers, entrees, or desserts. Some drink options include a Japanese twist by adding sake.
Café Brazil is a great spot if you’re looking for delicious food at affordable prices. The portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh and flavorful. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. One thing you definitely shouldn’t miss is their passion fruit juice — it’s refreshing and full of tropical flavor! A great place to enjoy a hearty meal without breaking the bank.
